In the morning of February 22nd, Leaders from the Luohu Economy Promotion Bureau, Luohu Housing & Construction Bureau, Luohu City Management Bureau, Urban Planning and Land Resource Committee and Luohu Subdistrict Office, led by Deputy District Secretary & Warden, Mr. Nie Xinping visited PENGCHENG Group’s projects, i.e. Tianlong Commercial City & DDM Mall, which locates at Dongmen commercial area. During the visit, Above-mentioned leaders were accompanied by relevant leaders from PENGCHENG Group.
The warden and his team first investigated Tianlong Commercial City, guided the development of the project, and placed expectations on it. Tianlong Commercial City is located in the center of Dongmen Pedestrian Street and is one of blocks with the most concentrated people flow in the pedestrian street. The project is adjacent to LAOJIE, the oldest traditional cultural area in Pedestrian Street of Shenzhenon the south side, and surrounded by Siyue Academy, the Embossed Wall themed Shenzhen Traditional Commercial Street in the Past 300 years, Century Bell and other cultural landscapes.

Afterwards, the warden and his team came to DDM Mall to inspect the construction site and listened to the Group’s report on project positioning and other related work. Mr. Nie highly praised the contribution made by PENGCHENG Group DDM mall in regard of reinvigorating Luohu traditional business district, praised the project's innovation and cultural leadership, demanded DDM Mall project to strengthen safe production, and instructed relevant departments to give support and cooperation therein for its smooth opening.

DDM Mall is the predecessor of Shenzhen Department Store Plaza. It was a key project during the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period in Shenzhen. It has been quiet for 20 years because of historical reasons. It is a major project for Luohu to speed up the construction of an international consumer center. It bears significant meaning in vitalizing idle commercial properties and promote the transformation and upgrading of the Dongmen (East Gate) shopping area. The PENGCHENG Group has braved the difficulties and has made a concerted effort to invest huge capital and manpower in the reorganization of projects. It has now entered the stage of full-scale renovation of merchants, with an investment rate of over 95%. After its opening, it will be dominated by originality, literature, and ecology, and it will a new landmark for Dongmen Fashion consumption experience.
