On October 29th, 2017, the “My dream & Me” King of the Singing held by the PENGCHENG Group DDM mall, Shenzhen's first original literary theme shopping center, successfully ended with the witness of 10,000 people. The contest for the king of singing was sponsored by DDM Mall Commercial Plaza, a brand new music reality show organized by the presenter - Shenzhen Yuanzhi Culture Communication Co., Ltd. It created the largest-scale, best-quality the masses singers awards competition in Shenzhen.

The competition has the characteristics of public welfare, low threshold, extensiveness, and high standards. Since September, it has received applications and attracted the attention and participation of people from all walks of life. Nearly 600 music lovers from various industries have actively participated in the competition. From Shenzhen residents to Hong Kong, Macao compatriots and overseas Chinese living in Shenzhen, the age span of the participants is from 8 to 80 years old. There are a large number of excellent original musicians, each expressed their longing for ideals and good life via belcanto, folk songs, ballad, hip-hop, rap and popular and etc.

Whether it was the top 20 player who qualified in the finals, or some of the players who failed to advance, there emerged many singers with musical representations. They were sound-from-the-nature Zhu Dekang, known as Guangdong Henry, national grandmother Liu Shuyun who is over 80 years old, and little goddess Peng Xinyi who is only 8 years old. They have used different musical styles to show the pursuit of the dreams and exalt charms of dreams in different eras.

After fierce competition, the 16-year-old middle school student Xin Ai combined popular, English RNB, ethnic style and other musical elements to perform cross-border wonderful performances and won the championship. Liao Daxiang, a well-known guitarist in Shenzhen famous music band – Green Bus & music producer, own runner-up with original ballad “Grandpa” and “Grandma”. Impoverished childhood has never brought teacher Wang Chao down and she did not give up her love for music. She took the third place with the bright and touching folk song. They are well-accepted and cheered in the audience. I believe they will go achieve something in the future on the music journey.

DDM Mall commercial plaza is a commercial project jointly created by PENGCHENG Group and Kaisa Group. Since its opening in April of this year, it has been continuously launching various exciting activities such as graffiti carnival, street dance contest, dimension project cosplay contest, ukulele carnival, My Dream and Me king of singing contest and so on.
