On the afternoon of March 16th, Shenzhen Quality City Promotion Conference & the Annual Ceremony for the Construction of Quality City in 2017 themed “Gathering Wisdom and Strength from All, Promoting the Quality Upgrade of City” was held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. PENGCHENG Group’s subsidiary company the Aokangde Group was awarded the "2017 Shenzhen Quality City Contribution Award"

At the conference, the Shenzhen Quality City Promotion Association also held a general election. Mr. Ma Weihua, former president of China Merchants Bank, was re-elected as the president of the Association and Mr. Peng Weihong was re-elected as vice chairman of the 2nd council. Chairman Mr. Ma Weihua and former vice chairman of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Mr. Zhou Changhu and other leaders handed out the prizes for companies & individuals that have won the awards such as the "2017 Shenzhen Golden Medal of Quality City", the "2017 Shenzhen Quality City Contribution Award ", and the "2017 Shenzhen Backbone Enterprise of Quality City". Mr. He Qijun, Assistant to the Chairman of the PENGCHENG Group, attended the conference and received honors on behalf of the Aokangde Group.

The Shenzhen Quality City Promotion Association was initialized & established by the then-current President of China Merchants Bank, Mr. Ma Weihua, and Board Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Town, Mr. Liu Pingchun, and BYD Chairman Mr. Wang Chuanfu and other 146 famous entrepreneurs of Shenzhen City in 2012. Since its establishment, it has been pragmatically promoting the type of development featured quality & efficiency, which has created a precedent, at national level, for the development of a city being advanced by quality city social organizations.
The award of Shenzhen Golden Medal of Quality City was initiated in 2013. It is the city’s highest personal quality honor and has been awarded to outstanding entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions in building a “quality city”.
Today's honor is great affirmation and inspiration for the unremitting efforts of the PENGCHENG Group in promoting the quality of the city.
